The University has 9 hostels and all hostel rooms are fully furnished. One room can be shared between 2-3 Students. Facilities like air conditioner, attached bathroom, color T.V., telephone, and bed with required amenities and furniture, hot drinking water heater, refrigerator, public laundry and kitchen, internet access are easily accessible. Cricket Tournament is organized every year in April for international students. All the hostels are under protection of the police 24*7. Indian festivals such as Eid, Diwali, Holi, Navroz are celebrated in the University with full fervor.
The minimum academic records of the students in Physics – Chemistry – Biology (PCB) at 10+2 level in Science stream are 50%. There are only 30 seats for Indian students. Again these seats are divided among North / South / West India. Edu have 15 seats blocked every year and can accommodate students eligible for Osh MBBS program at the university. In order to study Medicine at Kyrgyzstan in this university, the students must reach there before 10th September.

There is only one intake in OSMU in September every year for which the application deadline is generally 30th of June.
